Principal Director

Stephen founded Prior Gili & Co in Melbourne in 1990. He holds the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant holding a Certificate of Public Practice from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

With over 35 years experience in public practice, he has been involved in varied assignments across a broad range of industries including the sale of substantial businesses, structured finance arrangements and takeover defending or facilitating. He is a former Managing Director of Australian listed company Admiralty Resources NL. His particular specialities are company corporate structuring, capital gains tax and property acquisition and development.

Chief Executive Officer

Brendon Gili joined Prior Gili & Co in 2004 and is currently the CEO at Prior Gili & Co. He is a Chartered Accountant, has completed a Masters of Business Administration at the Melbourne Business School, and is an Associate of the Tax Institute.

Brendon has comprehensive knowledge and experience with a wide variety of tax fields including income tax, CGT, FBT, superannuation, GST, R&D and tax structuring. In addition, he has significant experience with accounting and management matters relating to real property, the automotive and construction industries, and with family law.

Tax Specialist

Devin Posselt joined Prior Gili & Co in early 2007. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in both Accounting and Finance from Monash University. In addition, Devin has completed a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Melbourne.

Over the years working at Prior Gili & Co, Devin has gained experience in a number of areas including Income Tax, CGT, GST, Superannuation, and the preparation of General Purpose Financial Reports, Special Purpose Financial Reports and Budgets. In particular, Devin is the primary researcher at Prior Gili & Co, utilising his extensive knowledge of the Tax System to provide advice on more complex taxation matters.
